Consciously Created Foam
We are passionate about more than just the basics of style, comfortability and longevity. In our industry, the sad truth is that affordable furniture often include harmful materials that are not only bad for the environment but can be detrimental to your health.

Ethical Wooden Materials
Forest management and protecting wildlife are key concerns for The Flatpack Co. We primarily deal with wooden materials and strive to have all of our wood and card FSC certified.
This means the wood or card in our products has gone through the most rigorous testing for responsible forestry.
FSC certification allows us to offer forest and wildlife protection that requires consultation with local Indigenous Peoples. Having open conversations and working with local customs to ensure sustainable sourcing of wood and card is a value we will never compromise on.
Longevity
Furniture is a purchase that should be made with the future in mind, not just a season. Our mission is to create quality pieces that last.
Each year it is estimated that over 20 million mattresses end up in landfills, and a mattress is just one small component of a beautiful living space. The fast furniture industry has over 12million tonnes of furniture end up in the landfill in the US alone and in the UK thats over 50% of reusable furniture.
High-quality materials and timeless designs are our passion and we believe the most important factors to begin to reduce unnecessary landfill waste.
Our Goals
100% sustainable packaging by 2025
Packaging is used in every single one of oour products. That is why we have set ourselves the goal of only using 100% sustainable packaging by the end of 2025. This includes replacing any polyster with honey comb packaging, removing plastic bags for things like scres and using reinforced recycled cardboard.
Carbon neautral by 2025
We have set ourselves the exciting goal to become carbon neutral by the end of 2025. To achieve this we must understand the carbon footprint associated with manufacturing our products. Once this is understood we can work with a carbon credit partner to achieve net zero by the end of 2025. We are very excited to align The Flatpack Co. towards a more sustainable and carbon neutral future.
